Accommodating customer requests

In our work, it’s important to establish the right rapport with our clients.
We need to respect the client’s perspective, of course, without ever losing our own focus and style of photography.
We got to know Mathias and Vanessa through constant email correspondence leading up to the wedding.
Their wish was to see the photos before granting us permission to publish them, and although showing our work to couples is important to us, we agreed because we understand how important privacy is.
After all, we’re talking about feelings and intimate moments.
Our job for the couple was to take photos during the pizza party the day before the wedding and focus on taking photos on the wedding day.

Another desire of the couple was to enjoy the two days in tranquility, staying with their guests as much as possible.
Having a small child as well, the timing couldn’t be too tight or structured.
We, therefore, chose the path of pure reportage, almost never interfering, except on two occasions that were particularly important to us, namely taking couple photos at the right time, so as not to detract from our photographic style.
You won’t see many photos of people here because we respected the couple’s idea of protecting their guests, but we assure you it was truly a lively and engaging wedding.

Photo on the Lake

The lake has always been a favorite destination for foreigners, and we Piedmontese are fortunate to have two beautiful lakes like Lake Orta and Lake Maggiore. Meeting couples from abroad is always a source of pride because they not only choose Piedmont as the location to celebrate their wedding but also choose the Made in Italy, and in this case, Made in Piedmont.

Matilde and Sebastian chose the Hotel Majestic as their venue, hosting people from various countries around the world. Matilde frequently travels for work, and Sebastian has been following her on her fantastic journeys around the world for years. In these travels, they formed bonds, and on their wedding day, all the important people from different ethnicities and cultures were there to celebrate together.

How beautiful is the diversity of cultures. We believe that diversity is richness. During the ceremony, emotions overwhelmed everyone, and we were ready to capture them. What we remember from this day is the wonderful way the guests shared this day with the couple and how they actively participated in the celebration.

The plan was for the party to continue on a boat on the lake, but the bad weather didn’t allow it. However, Matilde and Sebastian can consider themselves lucky because the most beautiful celebration was sharing such a day with loved ones around. It was truly a beautiful photographic narrative.

Flexibility and Professionalism

Alessia and Armando opted to narrate their wedding day through the unique style of MonocromoStudio, choosing only the photo service.
True to our approach, we arrived at Tenuta Tamburnin (Castelnuovo Don Bosco) a bit earlier to familiarize ourselves with the surroundings (we always do this when we’re not familiar with the location) and to capture some shots of the venue.
We love taking things slowly because haste certainly doesn’t help and doesn’t contribute to the necessary serenity in the environment. So, we allowed the makeup artist to work in tranquility, capturing documentary-style shots during the makeup phase and also focusing on the details.
Armando awaited us directly at the church, where we arrived half an hour before the ceremony to position our battery-powered spotlights (thanks to the site visit, we confirmed that the church lacked electrical installations). This setup allowed us to capture harmonious photos in a dimly lit environment.

The ceremony concluded just as the sun was rapidly setting. We decided to make the most of the last rays of sunlight by taking some photos in front of the church as the newlyweds reached the venue on their Vespa.
Unfortunately, we couldn’t use the vineyards adjacent to the location, but we agreed with the couple to return later to cover the missed part.
This way, the couple could fully enjoy their wedding, confident that they would get additional couple photos at a later date, in a harmonious and relaxed atmosphere.

Elopement

Elopement is a unique and intimate ritual where two people living together decide to exchange love vows in a picturesque and symbolic place.
Meghan and Chris chose the breathtaking beauty of the hills of Tuscany, where the landscapes seem to be straight out of a Monet painting.
The rainy period during May and part of June literally ruined the plans of many couples, but this certainly couldn’t be the fate for Meghan and Chris.
Madly in love with Italy and its architectural and scenic wonders, having traveled many kilometers from Canada to reach the beautiful country, rain was definitely not in their plans.
No, they didn’t want this, and neither did we. So, against all odds, we began to hope that the wind would carry away all the clouds and give us the opportunity to capture their day in the best possible way, using the colors of the Sienese hills.
Argiano Dimore was the location chosen by the couple from the selection of Tuscan villas suggested by the meticulous work of Simmi Studio.
A beautiful venue with a breathtaking view of the hills, surrounded by vineyards and cypress trees.

In this fantastic setting, Meghan arrived with her disarmingly beautiful self, and in front of a celebrant, they exchanged vows with their almost one-year-old daughter, Sawyer, in their arms.
It was beautiful to witness such an intimate and private moment.
As foreigners, we appreciate time management. When it comes to events where happiness is the keyword, things that absolutely should not be there are anxiety and stress.
So, in a serene and relaxed atmosphere, we captured photos, getting emotional with them.
After a short break between the ceremony and Sawyer’s nap, we took some more sunset photos.
Then, we hugged Meghan and Chris and let them enjoy that wonderful place even more.
I believe they will forever carry a beautiful memory of Italy, perhaps also thanks to our photos.
