The pre-wedding to get comfortable with photo and video cameras

Giulia and Fabio are two different people. She is very outgoing and able to stand in front of the camera, and he is shy, but not averse to the idea of having high-quality photos and video clips.

The wedding day goes by so quickly that allowing time for photos and videos is just a brief moment, but in fact, it represents the only time the couple can have a moment all to themselves.

No stress! Enjoy your wedding to the fullest!

In recent years, we’ve noticed that more and more clients love to experience their wedding day with peace of mind.

A wedding day goes by very quickly, like all beautiful things, and for this reason, it should be enjoyed to the fullest.

What does this mean from a photographic point of view? It means we strive to take photos without causing any stress, using a reportage technique to capture every moment naturally.

This way, you can enjoy your day without straying too far from your guests, except for 15 minutes during the best time for couple photos.
Adapting to the client and their needs is very important to us so that everything is in harmony on that day.
By understanding all the requirements, we know how to move and which photographic style aligns best with the client.

In the case of Nina and Hiro, the key word is spontaneity.

New year, new photographic style

We always love to stay attentive to current trends and how photographyevolves over time. This year, the most sought-after photographic style is the Vogue style. We believe that a professional photographer should always strive to keepup with the market and meet the client’s requests

This doesn’t meanlosing one’s own photographic identity, but simply experimenting andchallenging oneself with different styles to enrich one’s experience. So, this year, we are also challenging ourselves and having fun with theVogue style.

Josie and Fabio live in London; she has a unique beauty, like a fashioncatalog model. With them, it was easy to reproduce this style because they allowedthemselves to be captured in various shots that may seem very naturalbut actually require careful consideration of framing and posing.

The best way to recreate this type of style and make it appearspontaneous and natural is entirely based on the photographer’s skill. We loved the effect, and so did Josie and Fabio.

Having a Good Management of the Day

Wedding without a Wedding Planner

We increasingly have weddings where a wedding coordinator or a wedding planner is involved. This is because managing the day is not at all simple and requires very high attention to ensure everything goes smoothly.

Thomas and Michelle did not aspire to a perfect wedding but to the perfect wedding for them, based on the presence of friends and the part

Thanks to the help of the witnesses and a few other friends, they managed to have the celebration they envisioned for themselves.
When there is no wedding planner, the fundamental thing is to have control over the management of the day because unpredictability is always a factor not to be underestimated.

Therefore, it is necessary to have the right experience and constant communication with the couple (before and during the day) to capture every crucial moment in photos and videos.

Love in the streets of beautiful Florence

Florence is one of the most beloved cities among foreigners. Its beauty enchants millions of tourists, and it did the same with Dafne and Tommy Florence offers picturesque scenes that turn every photo into a masterpiece. Fromthe bridges crossing the Arno River to the historic squares and panoramic views ofthe city, Florence provides endless opportunities to capture extraordinary photos.
Dafne and Tommaso chose Florence for their “I do,” entrusting us with the task oftelling the story of one of the most important days of their lives, capturing their love inthe streets of Florence and along the banks of the Arno. Their “I do” was an elopement, held in a garden of a villa in the historic center. Theythen took spontaneous photos in the streets of Florence.

The advantage of hiring experienced professionals in the field

Entrusting the storytelling of one’s day to professionals is extremely important. Entrusting it to professionals with years of experience undoubtedly has even more advantages.
This is because those who have been in the industry for several years, and we have been for 14 years, have such experience that they can provide their couples with a series of advice that are not directly related to the photographic aspect, but in some way enhance it.

When couples choose us, they have on their side two professionals capable of giving them advice that concerns the entire wedding.
Obviously, our work does not replace that of wedding planners at all, but it is an aid aimed at improving the final result of the photographic and videographic aspect.

So, we simultaneously take care of our couples and the final result.

Accommodating customer requests

In our work, it’s important to establish the right rapport with our clients.
We need to respect the client’s perspective, of course, without ever losing our own focus and style of photography.
We got to know Mathias and Vanessa through constant email correspondence leading up to the wedding.
Their wish was to see the photos before granting us permission to publish them, and although showing our work to couples is important to us, we agreed because we understand how important privacy is.
After all, we’re talking about feelings and intimate moments.
Our job for the couple was to take photos during the pizza party the day before the wedding and focus on taking photos on the wedding day.

Another desire of the couple was to enjoy the two days in tranquility, staying with their guests as much as possible.
Having a small child as well, the timing couldn’t be too tight or structured.
We, therefore, chose the path of pure reportage, almost never interfering, except on two occasions that were particularly important to us, namely taking couple photos at the right time, so as not to detract from our photographic style.
You won’t see many photos of people here because we respected the couple’s idea of protecting their guests, but we assure you it was truly a lively and engaging wedding.

Organization is important

What we’ve narrated in this wedding is a beautiful story.
It’s strange how the world turns and how roads intersect and merge.
Sam and Gian are a long-standing couple. They chased each other since high school, caught up, then separated, and finally found each other again, mature and aware of wanting to start a journey together. They started from Basilicata and passed through some cities, including our Turin, before reaching Lombardy.
But their hearts are Lucanian, and that’s where they decided to organize their wedding.
They began their search for a wedding photographer and videographer and ended up with us.
Together, we faced 2020 (the year they were supposed to get married) and shared a pre-wedding session in Bormio and a wedding at the beautiful Castle of San Basilio in Marina di Pisticci (Matera).

For us, leaving our region is always stimulating. Everything serves to activate creativity.
When we’re out of our region, we like to travel by car to bring all the equipment we need with us.
This also allows us to be very independent and to move to different places to document a city or everything revolving around a wedding.
For example, we were able to attend a serenade the day before the wedding or reach the location the day after the event to capture a few more shots with the drone.
We are very organized, and we like to agree on a plan with the couple to never miss any moments they value, but we are open to unexpected occurrences.
One must always be prepared!

Equipment is crucial

Our work encompasses many facets and aspects.
On the same day, our skills must range from the emotional to the technical aspects.
We can never underestimate the unexpected and must always have the equipment with us that can help us solve any problems we may encounter.
Surely, a team that knows how to do their job well is the winning key.
Each member of the team can technically support their colleague. For example, as videographers, we sometimes have to set up lights for our photographer colleagues, and vice versa, photographers sometimes support us in positioning microphones. For this reason, the team is important.

But the team would be nothing without a series of equipment and problem-solving skills.
From the dual camera setup for each operator to windproof devices to avoid microphone rustling.
In the wedding of Cristina and Roberto, which took place on a warm September day, the wind was really strong.
We remember using several windproof devices and positioning various audio devices to deliver the work cleanly.
The result was a very polished video.
We believe that if couples see a job well done, we must ensure that theirs will be perfect too.
