Elopement
Elopement is a unique and intimate ritual where two people living together decide to exchange love vows in a picturesque and symbolic place.
Meghan and Chris chose the breathtaking beauty of the hills of Tuscany, where the landscapes seem to be straight out of a Monet painting.
The rainy period during May and part of June literally ruined the plans of many couples, but this certainly couldn’t be the fate for Meghan and Chris.
Madly in love with Italy and its architectural and scenic wonders, having traveled many kilometers from Canada to reach the beautiful country, rain was definitely not in their plans.
No, they didn’t want this, and neither did we. So, against all odds, we began to hope that the wind would carry away all the clouds and give us the opportunity to capture their day in the best possible way, using the colors of the Sienese hills.
Argiano Dimore was the location chosen by the couple from the selection of Tuscan villas suggested by the meticulous work of Simmi Studio.
A beautiful venue with a breathtaking view of the hills, surrounded by vineyards and cypress trees.
In this fantastic setting, Meghan arrived with her disarmingly beautiful self, and in front of a celebrant, they exchanged vows with their almost one-year-old daughter, Sawyer, in their arms.
It was beautiful to witness such an intimate and private moment.
As foreigners, we appreciate time management. When it comes to events where happiness is the keyword, things that absolutely should not be there are anxiety and stress.
So, in a serene and relaxed atmosphere, we captured photos, getting emotional with them.
After a short break between the ceremony and Sawyer’s nap, we took some more sunset photos.
Then, we hugged Meghan and Chris and let them enjoy that wonderful place even more.
I believe they will forever carry a beautiful memory of Italy, perhaps also thanks to our photos.
