Planning a wedding is no easy task, there are so many things you need to anticipate and organize.
In this article, I want to help you and clear up some of the doubts that often arise when starting to plan a destination wedding.
How much does a destination wedding photographer cost?
Let’s start with the question that every couple asks when they begin to look around to organize their wedding.
How much does a wedding cost? Well, it all depends on the expectations you have for your big day. You can organize a wedding for a few thousand euros or spend a much higher amount.
Several factors contribute to driving up the price: how many guests will I bring to my destination wedding, which location do I want for my wedding, and which services do I want to include? In the latter, we definitely come into play with our packages and services.
So how much does a destination wedding photographer cost? The photographer can have a relatively low or high cost depending on their professionalism, experience, and the services you plan to include in the wedding package. Are you organizing a elopement, un’intimate wedding o untradizional wedding ?

Answering this question is quite complicated, but we can tell you that for a photography-only package, which includes a full day of work with 2 professional photographers, the cost is 4500 euros.

How many hours of service does the contract include?
Our contract includes 12 hours of service. Based on our experience, this is more than enough to cover the entire wedding day.
From getting ready to the party, we will spend the whole day with you. For this reason, make sure you choose the right photographer for you.
However, it is possible to choose packages with fewer hours, depending on your needs.
Liking their work is not enough; you must also establish a connection with the professional, as they will be with you during intimate and delicate moments when you will show your emotions. The connection is truly important.
How many people are in the photography team?
There will be two of us, both professional photographers. There will be no assistants still learning the trade, only experienced photographers.
From the beginning, we decided not to turn our studio into a wedding factory. Instead, we’ve chosen to focus on every detail of each wedding and handle only one event per day.
Once a connection is established with the couple, our only focus will be on photography: capturing emotions and returning them. When there is empathy between the couple and the photographer, the entire day flows smoothly.
What will the couple need to worry about? Nothing.
A professional photographer knows exactly what to do.
Do I need to pay for the photographer's travel and accommodation costs?
These costs should be considered if you plan to hire a destination wedding photographer. The costs obviously vary depending on the distance.
These costs should be considered if you plan to hire a destination wedding photographer. The costs obviously vary depending on the distance.
If the photographer is not located in the region where you plan to organize your wedding, you will also need to account for their accommodation expenses.
We recommend considering an extra night’s stay, as this will allow the photographer to be more rested for your big day. An additional day can also give the photographer time to scout the area, identify the best spots for the couple photoshoot, and visit the locations where different moments of the day will take place.
We always discuss this aspect with the couple, working together to find the best solution for everyone. We are traveling photographers, not the other way around. Our goal is to capture beautiful photos, and we’re confident that a way to accommodate both sides can always be found.
What are the delivery times for the photographic material?
The contract allows a maximum period of 6 to 7 months for the delivery of the photos. We have chosen such a wide time frame because during the wedding season, which spans from April to October, we are often away for work. However, we strive to put in all our effort to reduce this time frame.
It is also possible to take advantage of our express delivery service, where the waiting time for your photos will be 2 months.
How many photos will I receive?
You will receive 800 high-resolution photos, post-processed and free of any logo.
Over the years, we’ve realized that while the number of photos is important, what matters most is the quality of the photo and its post-production.
We’ve noticed that with 800 photos, couples have always been satisfied, as they can find all the important moments and also what they may have missed for various reasons.
Are the photos post-processed?
Yes, the photos are post-processed. Once all the photographic material is gathered and saved, we will make an initial selection, excluding all shots that are technically or compositionally imperfect.
We will enhance each photo to give it an appealing and emotionally impactful look. We will sometimes use color and other times black and white.
All 800 photos will be color-corrected and delivered to you in high definition, without any watermark.
What are the payment methods? Deposits and balances.
You can choose from various payment methods depending on your needs. You can make the payment through:
- Paypal
- Bank transfer
- Cash
Our contract provides for the following payment schedule:
- Deposit: 40% upon signing the contract
- Second deposit: 30% two weeks before the wedding via bank transfer or on the wedding day in cash
- Final payment: 30% before the delivery of the files.
Can I print a professional photo album?
Of course!
Our studio also offers the printing of a photo album.
We can provide various types of photo albums in different formats, customized to your preferences.
We have a wide selection of fabrics and materials available.
How will I receive the photographic material?
There are many ways to deliver the completed work to the couple, but when it comes to destination weddings, it is usually the case that couples will not return to the country where they celebrated their wedding, or at least not in the immediate future. Therefore, the easiest way to send the files is through digital download.
This can be done in various ways, such as through downloads on specific platforms or by sending a link from which everything can be downloaded. Normally, we use our portal, where you will have a personalized folder with a password and PIN for the download, ensuring the protection of your privacy.
